Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic
 Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic
are authorized by the Archbishop to distribute Communion in
church and to the sick and shut-ins at home.
This ministry is
open to those who are at least 21 years of age. Training takes place at
Our Lady of Lourdes and is conducted by Diane Rhodes. There is a video
tape of a workshop given by Monsignor Telthorst in November 1998.The
tape is in a library in Sister Marilyn's office, as well as a booklet
with information about the Ministry of the Eucharist. Ministers have
the option of selecting the Mass(es) to attend and are scheduled
accordingly.
