Music Ministry
On January 18, 2001, Our Lady of Lourdes Bell Choir held their first rehearsal. Nine adult members are currently ringing, and more
members may be recruited as more bells are added. Everyone seems to be enjoying the sessions, and looking forward to performing at
Mass in the near future. Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Music Room. For more information, contact

The Childrens Choir is open to both PSR students and OLL students in grades 3-8 at the beginning of the school year and grades 2-8 at
the beginning of the second semester of the school year. The children are encouraged to not only participate in singing but also
to play instruments. They sing once a month at a weekend liturgy. Occasionally they sing along with the Adult Choir at special
liturgies. Practice times are usually held Fridays after school (3:00 - 4:15 p.m.). If you are interested in joining, please contact

The Hearts Afire Choir is for all people willing to sing and enjoy it. They sing on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at the 10:00 a.m.
mass. Practices are held one hour before mass and once a month during the months of September thru May. (No monthly practices are
held during the summer months.)

The Adult Choir is open to any and all members of the parish. The choir sings three or
four times a month at the 8:00 a.m. liturgy, other liturgical services, and
functions throughout the liturgical year.

The Resurrection Choir is open to all members of the parish and of any age. The choir sings at funeral liturgies when requested by
friends or family members of the deceased. Choir members must be able to sing with only a one or two days notice. Practices are at a
time agreed upon by the choir members.
