The Home and School
Association (HAS) is comprised of parents of children enrolled in Our
Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, the pastor, the school principal and
any faculty members. Every school parent is automatically a member,
and active participation in this organization is an excellent way to
get to know other families, share ideas, and enhance the connection
between home and school life.
To ensure that our
children have the best educational experience possible, we strive to
provide the teachers and the students with support through the sharing
of our time, talents, and treasures. Our support may be shown in the
purchasing of a needed school supply for a teacher, to school
renovation projects, or helping with the supervision of children on
field day.
While fundraising
is an essential part of realizing many of our goals, it is not our
only objective. Our HSA also organizes social activities for our
school families throughout the school year. Connecting home life and
school life is important at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish.
